As you would probably expect : Grizzly H7657 Miter Saw Stand.
Now that I've (finally) used the Grizzly and gone to Home Depot and compared it to the Ryobi (same as the Denali), I think the Grizzly is probably sturdier and perhaps more stable. However, having said that, I'm not sure it was worth all the aggravation. You see, the Grizzly was delivered in substandard packing which was damaged in shipment. The hardware was packed inside the box in very flimsy plastic bags which apparently can handle only a little jostling without breaking open. Mine arrived missing a fairly extensive list of hardware items that had escaped from the torn and ruptured cardboard container. As I'm sure you've discovered from other reviewers, this is not unusual for this product.
So, like some other purchasers, I had to do a complete inventory of missing parts, talk to the **nice** people at Grizzly (don't they ever get tired of the complaints?) and report the missing and broken parts. They told me they would have to determine whether to replace the parts or ship another entire unit. A day or so later, they called to tell me that they had decided to ship another complete unit.
The second package arrived in just a couple days and was generally intact except that one of the hardware bags was again ruptured, missing (fewer) parts. Before I could even sort through the new box, I got another call from Grizzly. They told me that UPS wanted the original unit and shipping container. Since I wasn't interested in reassembling a whole new unit, I simply took the necessary parts from the new box and completed my first unit. Then, I threw all of the remaining stuff into the original packaging and set it on the porch. UPS picked it up within a day.
Frankly, I wouldn't have had a serious problem with this mishap if I hadn't already read several reviews reporting the same issue, and I can't figure out why Grizzly doesn't do something to resolve it. Fact is, the stand is okay for home use (but not substantial enough to survive professional use in my opinion).
BTW, although the unit is reasonably substantial, the adjustable plastic knobs (about 14 of them) will not tolerate banging around in the back of a pickup or SUV. For that matter, the wheel assemblies probably wouldn't either. I do, however, prefer the units dual extendible material holder arms to the typical single arm units as on the Denali (Ryobi). They do not twist and do keep the rollers level.
Bottom line: the price is right, Grizzly's service is commendable and the unit is okay for my use, but don't buy it if you don't have time to wait for replacement parts. The aggravation may not be worth it.
